Ok what if i exceed my unlocks for this month and i really dont want to wait till next month to get racing again.

I hate to sound like a 9 year old uber leet aol hacker but its kinda unfair that I've brought the game and am unable to play it to no real fault of my own, i had to reinstall windows during the beginning of this month to try and resolve some sound card problems and I've just got a new mother board for my PC and that required me to reformat again. Whats really really annoying is that i ordered a steering wheel with the new motherboard and am yet to use it in my favorite car (FOX)

If their a way i can request one off emergency unlock?

and i am aware that the next month is only a few days away but i really wana try my new wheel out, see how much faster i am with a wheel over a mouse. Any help greatly apriciated

Contact Victor, he'll sort ya out. Many of us have technical "challenges" with our PCs.. it's par for the course, but Victor will sort you out for sure.

The unlocking system is absolutely nothing to do with preventing you from enjoying racing - that's the last thing the Devs would want. It's only about protecting ALL of LFS, including all of us, racing online, from people who have no honour and would cheat as soon as blink.

There aren't any AOL hackers any more, only skrypt kyddies with crappy old copy/paste scripts. But you're right about them all being 9

ive run out of unlocks as well, emailed victor yesterday, patiently waiting!

wth, just checked and it says i have 1 unlock (didnt get an email saying so tho), so i open LFS and it says "All unlocks for this month used"m just realised i have the LFSPC race on the 31st so i kinda need another unlock

BTW i have bypassed the cache and it still says i have 1 unlock. I just dont get it!

I know 3 unlock per month might sound way enough for everyone but its not 1st time I am seeing someone have to reformat in the 1 month more then 3 times.
Maybe the best way would be to extend the unlocks per month for 5 attemps.It would save a confusion to one who bought the game and also to Victor who wouldnt have to looking into this again and again.

Why? Can you give a better explanation please?

Because then people will have so many unlocks they won't think twice about sharing unlocks etc, which is what the unlock system is trying to avoid.

I think 3 (2) is fine, you just need to plan your reformats. If you have to reformat unexpectedly then don't change your hardware til the end of the month, or do it when you do the reformat. Planning solves all

Simple fact is don't unlock LFS if your having computer problems ... try everything out first and then once your system is fully operational then unlock it

i have 1 unlock, but when i do it in LFS it says i have used up all unlocks!
