The problem is that that isn't G25... It's some cheap wheel. I have no warranty (it passed few months ago). At beginning it worked well, but now I can't even drive normal, and I have no money for something better.
Probaj, ako nemaš za G25 ili G27(al opet, tko ima? samo odlikaši.) negdje nabaviti Logitech Driving Force Pro, trebao bi te rabljen koštati 500 kn max. Da ga se naći i za 300. Barem je mene koštao toliko pred par godina. Mislim, znam , nemaš para, ali eto 300 kn se da uštedit ako, jelte, hoćeš nekakav iole kvalitetniji volan.
A opet... I da skupim tu lovu, pitanje da li bi mi stari dao da ga kupim...

so he's screwed if his wheel has optical sensors then? like the saitek R440 does. similar to the sensors used on a mouse scroller.
Sensor cannot be screwed from outside. Maybe there was some more important things , that thread starter don`t said to us. Anyway , we can only guess what`s the problem , we can guess what wheel he`s using
Guys, can I get a bit more help?

I can solve the problem, but it gets back again. I recalibrate it while the axis are locked in options (just turn it fast from left to right and back, and not 'till the end). But after ~30sec it returns.

When he was going to school, then wasn't any PC's. And PC wheels were just some fantasy. So, let's say that he has no idea how to fix it. He said that I should clean it from dust, but it isn't that easy to reach it.
potentiometers have been used for years. on cookers. radios, televisions. walkmen. record players.
your father should know what a potentiometer is and to test it.
look on youtube for tutorials on how to fix/replace a potentiometer on your wheel.
Have you read some posts before? I said this: "It is REALLY HARD to get to it."
Probably I would need to break whole wheel to get to potentiometer.
My father knows what potentiometer, and he knows how to test it. I said that in that time, there wasn't PC's, not that there wasn't potentiometers. But, as I alredy said, it is really hard to get to it. I'll maybe try to clean somehow, but I'm not sure.
and do you think someone from ireland is going to be able to get to it. try cutting out the attitude and maybe more people will post.
the fact that there was no PC's around when your father was younger is irrelevent. the pc is not broke. the potentiometer is. i'm sure you and your father can figure out how to operate a philips screwdriver between you both. so what it's hard to get to. so is the top of everest, but yet people manage to get there.
you do not have to break anything. take your time and unscrew the unit until it opens.
the unit is already broke so you have no risk of breaking an already broken unit.
AND CUT THE ATTITUDE ALREADY!!
You don't scream. I see that putting something in your head is harder then getting on Everest. I unscrew alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll (that is long all) screws, but there is no way to detach the wheel (not whole unit, just the wheel you turn) from the unit (potentiometer), and I should probably break the plastic cover of unit, to get to potentiometer itself and clean it. So I'm just asking for another solution (if it's possible).

it took 17 posts for you to mention you have unscrewed the unit.
have you read my posts? i said to look on youtube for tutorials. there you will see how to get to the broken part.

NOW I'm GONNA SCREAM A BIT. I HAD SIMILIAR WHEEL BEFORE, IT WAS GENIUS, JUST LIKE THIS ONE, AND I WAS TRYING TO FIX THAT ONE, BUT I COULDN'T GET TO THE POTENTIOMETER BECAUSE OF PLASTIC COVER, SO I DON'T WANT TO EVEN TRY TO DO THE SAME WITH THIS, BECAUSE I KNOW IT HAS SAME OPENING SYSTEM, AND THAT IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET TO IT.

When you say plastic cover do you mean the main plastic cover or there is another plastic cover within the wheel casing. I havern't seen a wheel casing that couldn't be unscrewed or open without having to break it. It would mean the manufacturer would have to break the wheels they make everytime they had to repair one.
You need to improvise a bit. My ffx had potentiometer problem , i decided to change it , because the inside of potentiometer was completely fuc**d up! I replaced current potentiometer , now my wheel has a HOLE looking at the bottom of my wheel , because in other way potentiometer don`t fits inside. After that i thought : "god damn , what have i done... Oh some glue will help". In this way i`m racing about 6months and no problems since then.. Later i will take a pic of inside my wheel , you will see..

I can guarantee that if you look closer you`ll see some screws inside that "plastic planet". Just look carefully , it is nonsence that you can`t open the most fragile place , in what way then repairers manage to open and repair the wheel if it get`s broken?

Locksmiff @ Yes I mean main cover. I think I should upload some pics, so you can see what I mean. There probably is a way to remove it, but I can't find it. Maybe I need to remove wheel (wheel, not unit) cover and unscrew it from there... I'm not sure. But there's some screws under, to unscrew the potentiometer itself, but there's too little space to unscrew them.

First of all , you don`t need to remove potentiometer , you just need to pour some oil into it. If problem is still the same , that means your potentiometer is really dead. You will not find absolutely the same potentiometer as your wheel , that`s the point why i`m saying "need to improvise a bit".

By the way , you cant just change potentiometer. You need to look what nominal is written on it. In my wheel there was linear 100k potentiometer. No signs about it was written on it. I had to look with multimeter how much ohms have mine`s. I guess you will do the same if potentiometer will be "special"
O.K. I'll try to do something with my father... He'll know that stuff... I'll let you guys know.
But, what I was asking was this: I have 180° potentiometer (90 left, 90 right). Could I put potentiometer with 500°?
