Really enjoyed that was a great thing to come back to LFS with.

Got a nice start and managed to go with the leading group, racing was really clean and close and slowing picked up the pace.

Got really tight when people started fighting for position and we all bunched up, was about 5 people, sweet! Went for a pass on Pingo but my rear tyres were hotter than a realised so we I hit the brakes that little bit harder the rear swung round and I hit him, we lost a bit of time but nothing more, sorry guy.

Then Fwanky caught us up and I made an awesome block to box him in when we got a tow from Pingo, he was screaming at me on teamspeak to move over, move over, just made it more funny to not let him out, lmao.

Pingo timed out tho a few laps later, was shaping up for a good fight as well

Rest of the race was just trying to catch 4th and 5th but they were that little bit to fast and I couldn't get them. Got a PB on the last lap trying though and got me into the 33's finally.

Great round, can't wait for the next

Yeah, it´s a shame. I expected a "full" grid.

Sucked as normal on quali.
+0.3 slower than pb, so I started on 12th position.

After racing two laps in the pack I decided to pit in L3 to avoid the fights infront of me.

Was a boring race, finished 7th.

Anyway, easy 18 points for me.

I deserve a teambanner on the ATC-page!

EDIT:
PM´d you
Was a good race in start and 20 laps before.
Then, my engine didn´t want more after lap 20 so im only dedicated to finish. The set betrayed me.

used too much engine braking. you're lucky you got 20 laps out of it. last time, mine gave up after about 16 laps. this race showed i learned my lession.

my practice up to this event was limited. this didn't bother me as such as i had already clocked up over 1000 laps with this combo. so i knew i just had to blow the dust of so to speak. i also kept the ammount of laps i did leading up to the race as low as possible. i tend to peak during practice and then level out during the race.

my aim was to finish in the top 6. so when i got a new pb in the last race leading up to the session, i knew that "It's on!!" so to speak.
i was completely blown away with my qually time again, a new pb. it couldn't have gone better.

we then worked out a pit strategy on teamspeak and agreed that the XFG with 60% fuel was much better than with 72%. we also timed how long it would take to fuel the rest. it took only 4 seconds to add the remaining 15% that was needed to complete the race. this gave us a window of up to lap 45.

the race started and the car felt really good. it felt like i still had qually fuel in. it was planted on all the corners except the one off the back straight (T5 i think). this was not the set though because by just breaking a touch earlier, i was able to make the apex every time.
ion lap 28 i worked out that pitting would put be just behind franky and gag who were 18 seconds behind so in i went and stopped on my mark. 4.75 seconds later i was off again. i had a very close call with the last post on the pit exit (had to check mirror to make sure the pole was not wobbling lol).
i caught franky up and gag then pitted to clear the track for franky. franky let me past as he as not racing me. i felt that franky should of pitted to cancel gags pit but franky pushed on. this may of cost him in the long run.
from then on i kept my lines tidy and my tyres clean. set another pb and finished 1st.
it was a great result and i had alot of fun.
next round, Aston Club yay!
Ballast= 45kg Boo!
Haven't raced in ages, and you could tell by my driving in the first few laps. Have to get used to that again :S Sry VoiD and franky for the contacts in lap 2/3 :S
Later in the race I really enjoyed fighting with Yuri, after that it was quite boring tbh :P

At least you didn't screw up your own race by jamming the clutch. =/

Like has been said, you geared down too fast. If you watch the replay every time you gear down the rpm goes into the red, it's only a little but over more laps it breaks the engine.

You need to brake more (use less engine braking) and leave a longer time between shifts.

Long time ago not ran with this car many laps.
