Quote from DevilDare :Where would I find these?

If you are talking about Right click>Properties>Settings>Advanced>Color Managment, then there are like 20 options you can add.

or you can just delete them all and use the OS standard profile.

Just delete them all? Some of them look like have something to do with PS, so I dont think thats a good idea.

Anyways, it also says that no profiles are used at the moment so...

That's how mine looks, "PNP" and "none". I've never seen a use for those profiles.
Hmm. Well I am out of ideas of what could be up. I mean its all fine in games, but Firefox is just...

But then again, it could be that what I see now are the correct colours, and I just got used to the wrong nvidia ones.
Could it be something to do with the cable?

My old 8600gt was connected through a DVI-I, but the 5770 doesnt support it. So I now have a 15pin cable going into Dual Link DVI-I adapter which connects to the card.

that would change the entire screen's colour if that was true... i have a vga monitor with a bad cable and in certain positions, the whole thing goes purple and flickers.
No but I mean, is there generally difference in picture quality between the two cables?
Now I remember having an issue as well with Firefox. Unlike IE, Firefox is/can be color managed. In the screenshot you have above, select sRGB color profile. Then either Firefox should be ok because it is looking at your profile you assigned, or you may need to change it within firefox.

I remember when I had FF 3.6, I had to change the color management in Firefox. Unfortunately, I'm back on FF 2.0 currently due to a Windows reinstall and can't remember what exactly to do. If you google for color management in firefox, you should be able to figure out how to configure FF to color manage according to the profile you set above.
Tried that. Still nothing.

I downloaded IE again just to test it, and it has the same issue. So I do not think there could be anything adjusted. It probably just how it is.

Ah well. You gain some you lose some.
Baby Jebus! I fixed it! I just saw there are different colour channels you can adjust instead of "All". Turned down the gamma for blue and green and voila!

Yeeees!

Just a small point - cases (with proper airflow) should be running best with the side of the case ON.

Cold air goes in at the front (at the bottom) and goes up as it is heated, where it goes through the CPU fan and then is sucked out by an exit fan. With the side off, this doesn't work anywhere near as well.
Hmm, after 5 years without problems, I don't think I'll bother trying to hunt down the side cover.

Screw this. It fixed FF and all that, but messed up the popup windows (Like when you need to confirm to delete something).

Made a topic on ATI Radeon/AMD forums. See what they have to say about it.

About the cooling - I dont think the side cover helps me. My box is rather big, but the parts still take up a lot of space and it is rather crowded in there. Also the fans are badly positioned.... Anyways.
I have watched your screenshot and I don't really see any difference from mine. So I am still wondering what is the problem that you are having lol
