AFAIK you can change only after the test round.
SC's- further explanation by mustang
Quali's- open qualifying before the races, only 1 teammember may drive at a time (you can perform takeover during Q)
Just to clear things up, Sean did not create those (Oscarhardwick did and Kenneth Okeefe edited them). If it becomes uneven in test race we will edit it to be even with other cars.
He is not a admin either.
Neither is bmx but i guess he thinks he is :
Why does everything have to have a fecking stream? I mean, the last 2 streams I've seen you involved in were diabolical to watch, especially on the admin side. Let these guys at least show they aren't numpties and can actually run this thing right before a stream is even considered.
They are basically the same exact restrictions as the old CTRA-GT2 class with the exception that the XRR has 1% less IR. The XRR could already post the fastest lap times.
thanks
If the league gets popularity and functions I may consider a stream but ATM it is not even being considered. By this friday i hope to have schedule dates and the SPDO setup. So far 12 teams are signed up please spread the word around
well if I understand right the latest patches have made the turbos slower. (or so i have been told)
now if this isnt true it will be adjusted after test race. End of that topic.
well the way i see it, you do the research, set the rules, and that's it. don't leave it open for discussion.
bickering only leads to more bickering. if the restrictions are way off then worry about it (but the CTRA restrictions were really good AFAIK).
1) Honestly I don't see the point at having streams for non swaping drivers leagues. But yeah, it's clearly interresting for endurance races, as it helps the teams to follow the race. It can be damn fun also, I mean, it's always nice to have some conversation with the other drivers on IRC/livestream chat while watching your teammate fail on track
2) I lack of experience, and English isn't my native language so I have to improve myself. I've received good reviews after my three last streams in date, so I know I can end up in making something half proper in a near future, if I carry on. Also, for information I've never been involved in the league side of the leagues I've been(and I will be) commentating in 2010 for information, basically my job was just to show up, make LFS TV Director working and comment the action.
By the way, that sentence was totally off topic, as I'm not involved in any way in the GT3 Touring Car Cup...
3) Good point, I have to say But well, let's imagine, if they have the manpower for this, why shouldn't they try? I don't know how many officials they will have, but if there are like 1 driving the SC, 1 other RCing, and 3 others doing nothing than hanging on Ventrilo and checking the forum when they get bored, don't you think that these 3 guys would be more useful if they try to setup a stream, even if it comes to fail in the end?
When will you put out a schedule with the exact dates so guys know if those dates are convient or not?
Also on the rules, you say you can be penalised with last row, drive-thru, stop and go, 30 sec. stop and go, for example can you please define on what kind of infractions will be for a last row penalty, or a drive thru. Will you be awarding these penalties during the actual race, or in the next upcoming event that you race in.
Also from what I've read there is only one Admin. Mustang, you need more then one guy to run an Endurance Series... Who are the co-admins for this series?
Hi Dave, Penalties will be "awarded" after a race. Penalty: Based on Incident type Example last row Minor Incident(s) Damaging other cars drive-thru Minor or Major Incidents + course cutting stop and go Major Incidents or Many Minor Incidents +breaking basic rules 30 sec. stop and go Serious incidents +breaking many rules
OscarHardwick-will be helping with many of the penalties and other things i also have others incase incidents involve both of our teams or we are overwhelmed. Dave if you need anything else you can always reach me via AIM.
One more question, when you switch drivers, are both drivers allowed in the server during the entire event, or is there a time limit when the other guy is allowed to showup and then switch. Like for example the 2nd teammate shows up 5 minutes in the server before you switch drivers, what's the protocol on this? Seems you need to refine alot of stuff on your site, and I'm just getting started.
