This weeks theme is... "Formula 1 in LFS"

Rules: (made by a bunch of dudes, these will not be changed)

To celebrate the upcoming Formula 1 Season, edit a screenshot along the theme of F1 in LFS

Cars: BF1 / FO8 (older F1 shots) + other appropriate cars, should you wish to represent the safety car (The focus of your picture should still be on the F1 car)

Tracks: All Tracks

As usual, a preview pic of no bigger than 400 x 400 px , a link to the high res version and please write 'Final Entry' if it is so. Once you have posted your final entry, any edited posts will be removed from the competition.

Any entries with preview pictures bigger than 400 x 400 px will not be accepted

All entrants to post between the time of this post and 22:00 GMT on Friday 26th March 2010

No renders or old images to be used. Use only your own work. NO VOB MODS!

Good job, macsy. Very nice edit, if you had only added some colors, contrast etc., it would look so much better.

@Hahmo: The reflection is actually pretty easy to make, just use the LFSviewer to do a rough 'reflection', paste it into photoshop, flip it vertically and erase any unnecessary parts. Lower the opacity, add a gradient mask and maybe a distort filter. The water effect on the tarmac is custom brushes.

@andRo: I actually desaturated the image a bit, as rain tends to do that and I like the look, but yes, I might play around with the levels a bit more.

Does anyone know how to make rain in gimp?

How about you dont bother with rain?

What is with Formula 1 that every person feels his edit needs rain?

It gets boring guys! Just a side view. Try and come up with something fresh.

Yes it does, your preview is correct.

Can I emphasise that your preview doesn't have to be exactly 400x400 square, because a lot of the time, that would stretch the aspect ratio of it and make it look crap.

The preview needs to be NO BIGGER than 400x400 px.

that is why you can see in reflection top side of the front spoiler with camera on the ground level...

So I also gave it a rough go.

I did something I have never done before. So this is my first time.

Not final entry. Not even sure if I will enter it. Not exactly happy with it.

If no one gets it - The guy is basically locking up under hard braking.
