I think you are anything but that.

I mean, there's no reason for you to be anyway.
If you have nothing good to say, then don't say it.
Quote from Wilko868 :Yes we do.

I love how we're shown to be 'full of ourselves' and 'arrogant'. I remember when I first started broadcasting, I did the Experion IMA OWT. You can still watch it OD here. Lets be honest, it was awful. I had the complete mickey taken out of me for it, flamed, ranted at and was sent packing (by one Mr Ford ). So what did I do? I asked for advice from some of the best broadcasters in LFS, I asked for support from the46, and after alot of hard work and a bit of elbow grease, we were putting on some good quality shows such as the Murray Motorsport Cup and the end of the first TBO Challenge season.

But this is what gets on my back about this stream in perticular. Oldnavy has come to me and to my colleagues, he's asked for advice that we have very kindly provided. I have helped run and shown people streaming how to run the equipment, how to use tools such as TV Director and I'm also trying to get new commentators and broadcasters in, trying to use the rest of this TBOC season and next to draft some up and coming commentators in and see what they can do. But it's when I'm not avaliable or they decide to go on without support, and they seem to not have listened to a word I have said, a thing I have shown them. What could of been a good stream of some good racing has turned into mush because they haven't taken in the support I gave them. And don't you really think that makes me feel unbearably stupid that I've wasted hours of my time?

So then when MoE misses 20 minutes due to an error with MultiBC, that we have no control over, how is it fair that we get so much flack and flaming? You saw that when we put on a good show from the final round, you'll see it again (hopefully) on Saturday with the Kyoto 250. But why do we get all of the hassle when it's not our fault, yet when people don't listen to the advice and help we give them they just get a sympathy vote? OK, so I probably shouldn't have said the likes of "This makes MoE look like the official F1 coverage..." without putting a huge JOKE sticker on it obviously, but still...

I give in, I really do... *sigh*

Agreed. Exactly what I wanted to say.

You guys have no idea how much advices Oldnavy have been told so far, not only on streams, but on several other LFS related stuff. But he never really seemed to care about them, and even worse, began to be extremely pretentious about his own stuff, for no proper reason.

I've always tried to be nice with him too, but obviously, when I showed up tonight for the stream, I had the feeling that Oldnavy had once again no idea about what he was doing there. I tried to see if anything could be saved from the disaster, but I gave up 5 minutes before the start, when I eventually realised that Oldnavy wasn't even aware that his stream was going to be absolutely awful and unwatchable, and didn't care when I told him what points should have been fixed earlier in the night to make the things half-proper.

I do belive that there's nothing wrong with a bit of sarcasm after that. Perhaps it'll help Oldnavy to realise that he has to do some efforts to make the things half proper, instead of bringing back this kind of ridiculous stuff once again.

I agree with everything you said about advice. If they dont listen to it its their problem, and the best way to show it that they should listen to it, is to ignore his post and not watch the broadcast.

This reminds me of TVE's thread about LFS Forums and what kind of state its in. I now realise a lot of it is true.

Anyways, like I said I totally support you NDR guys for what you have given to the community.

Also, lets be honest guys. It wasnt only MultiBC messing up. There were times where you messed up. There is no need to deny that. Even the best do it so...

Anyways. Me and some other dudes from eRacing.lt are practising broadcasting now. We hope to take over (LT/Baltic broadcasts) when we feel we have the quality needed.
You can say what you want.

The best streams in LFS are by NDR for MoE, GTAL, KY250 etc. or by Xcite TV for the City Liga!

Oldnavy's stream today failed again, I couldnt even hear him speaking and the screen was way too small.
Really sorry about that guys.. I really didnt know that his stream will fail so much. If you want anymore, then you can watch next round with high quality stream. :P
