The online racing simulator
Does anyone know the best way to send a replay to a mate please?
I had a race head to head and it was a finish separated by one hundredth of a second (really) and I want to send him the replay which I had remembered, thankfully, to keep by hitting "2".
Just what is the quickest and easiest method, (step by step please) to send him the replay.
Thank you
1) find the replay you saved (it should have asked you to name it), it should be in (depending on where your LFS in installed) C:\LFS\DATA\MPR

2) Zip the file up if need be

3) Attach it to an email to your friend.

Dan,
If you both have msn

In the conversation click files

Find your lfs folder, click mpr and find the replay you want

Click open and wait for your friend to recieve it.

+1 to send it via messenger. Certainly the easiest and quickest method. Just remember to tell him to put in LFS's mpr folder.

Not necessarily. (spelled right? o.O) It often happens to me that file transfer is either incredibly slow (skype, ~200byte/s) or it doesn't work at all (ICQ). This might be caused by router and firewall, but thats the configuration most users (should) access the internet through...
But an mpr isnt that big, that it would take hours to transfer. (If it isnt a 24 hour race )
MSN is awful for sending large files. I find it's quicker to upload a file to my website and have people download it (especially if I'm sending it to more than person), or alternatively let them grab it from my FTP server. In either of the latter cases I'm limited to my upload bandwidth, whereas MSN usually crawls along at 5kbps.
MSN is a piggin nightmare to send files, to get anything remotely resembling a decent transfer rate I have to open EVERY port on my router, no thanks.

Dan,
Many thanks to you all for your help. Cheers.
For sending a bit bigger files the best program is this stupid www.aim.com
