IGTC Round 2: Drivers Meeting

Sponsored by UKDediGamers - My3id.com - Touge Automotive

Hello Drivers and Managers,

After a fairly eventful first race we are on to round 2 at Kyoto National. Thankyou to all the teams that are giving up their bank holiday to participate tomorrow.
  1. Wind: There will be no wind in the race as forecasts show speeds of 3/4 mph at the time of the race in kyoto (3am sunday morning)
  2. Minimum SC period laps: 2
  3. General SC behaviour: Many teams in the last event did not leave enough room to the car in front. This caused a lot of accidents as the field was spreading and closing too quickly and one team paid the price as their car was then flung into the air and out of the track boundaries. PLEASE PLEASE leave a minimum of 4 car lengths during the main part of the SC periods and the initial warm up lap. Then you can bunch up towards the end of the lap when the SC has pulled away from the field. At this moment teams should stop warming their tyres. I'd like to remind you all that aggressive braking/accelerating under SC conditions is strictly forbidden and i will be handing out DT penalties to teams i feel have violated this rule.
  4. Rule changes: Everyone please bare in mind the recent rule changes regarding restarts and safety car periods.
  5. Time: Don't forget the race is still at 18:00 GMT so in general it starts 1 hour later than previously.
  6. Layout: The layout is attached. The start/finish line is very far from the pit entry where the SC will pull away, bare this in mind when attempting overtakes after a restart. Remember it is the second checkered line.
Lastly, enjoy the racing tomorrow and good luck!

One question:
Whats about the post at the beginning of the oval part? Do we have to leave the racing line before this post when we want to pit? Or is it allowed to leave it later?
Why do you think there are posts there?
Quote from boothy :Why do you think there are posts there?

Maybe to give you one way to get into the pits^^

Because there is nothing like that mentioned in the rule, so i wanted to ask
In Rule H6 only the exit is mentioned so i just want to be sure
Yes, that is the post for pit entry.
