Whee ?
Can someone Tell me why is it much better to drive with wheel
For pure realism a wheel is good. What is a whee though?
i made a fail :'D in the headline
Okay. I would recommend a cheap Microsoft Sidewinder or a Saitek R220 if you just want a cheap wheel, or for a very good wheel that will still be cheapish, I recommend the Logitech Driving Force PRO. The Logitech G25 if you have a fair amount of money or the G27 for loads.

You wont at first, you'll go slower. You have to get used to it but you will be faster and easier on the tyres once you do.

yeah you'll be slower for a while (and probably a bit frustrated) but keep at it, it will improve the more you practice.
ok thx
As for will it make you faster or slower....

If you've been playing console racing games with a controller and don't drive or haven't driven in real life much, then it may make you slower at first.

On the other hand, if you've been driving for 20 years for real and don't play console games, then I don't see how it would be slower. A wheel is how you drive a real car.

I've been racing in computer games for 15 years and have always had a wheel, so I don't have experience with a game pad. But I still don't see how it could be slower switching to a wheel unless you have never driven a real car.
gamepad, mouse or wheel are good but if you drive with a keyboard its pretty hopeless.

The problem is however, that in demo mode, it looks like its easy to drive with keyboard.

It depends on how long he has driven with mouse/keyboard steering before. If he drove like that for a long time and got used to it his times will definately be slower for the first few days until he gets used to the new feeling. But then, times will fall rapidly.

At least it was like that for me when I got a wheel after 1+ year of keyboard driving.
i'd say about 2-3 hours, you'll know what you're doing with the wheel. then another couple of hours getting used to the difference in the application of the throttle, brakes and steering. then you should start aiming to beat your pb times.
he's already used to the LFS physics. also his racing lines and braking points. imo it would take just as long as if you were trying a new car/track combo.
Using a wheel is incredibly frustrating at first, but you do get used to it after a while. I think that when you get a wheel you need much more practice and a good place to mount your wheel.
force feedback is also a must have.
but it sounds like a good wheel and can maybe help me much i dont want to buy a expensiv wheel like g25 - g27 cause i think the momo wouldt help me very much
The DFP would have been better, but the MOMO is still a good choice.
wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I'm not sure if the Momo Force has a shifter stick too(which would be considered better by many) but 900° steering is definately a point.
it have a shifter stick but ive read many forums about it and i just want to hear about it on lfs if its good or not

I've never had a Momo Force but what I hear from technically it's a reliable wheel. Don't know if those driver problems are still present but I guess not any more.
Is it a Rev. A or the Rev. B? The Rev. A had pedals issues - I was a victim of them with my DFP Rev. A. I was supposed to get the Rev. B but got the Rev. A so they gave me the Rev. B to replace it . If you don't know what I am on about, the DFP shares the same pedals as the MOMO.
oh ok
Well i think momo is a good wheel and that i can race some good races with it
what about the DFGT? i have a friend who has one and he loves it.
hmm i think i have tried it once and i didnt like it
