XRR a bit unstable?
Ive just went onto blackwood with the XRR as i absolutely love that car, but its easier to flip that the XFR. Its as if all the weight of the car is on the roof, i got it on 2 wheels 5 times in 3 laps

Ive attatched the .mpr of it.

Hmm, gonna check that replay out.

Btw, i thought that from GTR cars, the FXR flips the most (example: blackwood)

E: Hey, you had only ONE flip at the end of the replay. The "oops" before that, was just a bit much over the curb. These were not flipping.
yeah the xfr flips from just cornering too quickly
sure its realistic but its not pleasant lol. irl i imagine you would feel the lack of weight on the inside tires before the flip.

The XFR is much better now, but no one mentioned the worst car now: UFR!

I think the easy flipping in LFS may be something to do with the fact that LFS assumes the body is rigid and no forces are absorbed by it.
yes i'm interested to see how the devs plan to impliment chasis flex

^^ Can't see anyone simulating it properly, at least not until we get faster hardware.

Rigs of rods is an example of what could be achieved in non-rigid physics models, but obviously it's a long way from anything just yet.

I've been pounding around Aston GP Rev in the XRR for the last few days. I managed to arrest the flipping problem by some small adjustments to the suspension (relaxing stiffness and increasing rebound damping). Although the car seems to flip very easily using the default race sets I didn't have to move too far away from those settings to reach some sort of equalibrium. So my car is still basically a stiff race setup

As for chassis flex, in my opinion the absence of chassis flex is often responsible for many debates about tyres. Some small handling issues that remain (and are perhaps more noticeable in the FR cars) feel more chassis related that they are to tyre grip. Food for thought.
