The Scrappy Standards League had it's inaugural race on the twisting circuit of South City Long (SO4). With relatively few issues drivers were able to sort out their positions with raw pace and racecraft. Magnus Björndal, racing for liveforspee.se, has cemented himself as the man to beat with his flawless weekend at the City. Other MoE drivers such as facepalm Team's Egon Liibeon and Reno Kööts, as well as Conquest Racing's Łukasz Małecki also showed off their pace and overtaking skills. While the sprint race was relatively clean, the feature race ended with a sour note for a few drivers and resulted in a few general warnings to keep the racing clean and fair.
Magnus Björndal started his perfect weekend with a dominant qualifying position. A few drivers set new personal bests in qualifying, but none with such good results as Something Awful Racing's own Randy Young, who secured his spot on the front row.
Magnus continued his weekend by winning the sprint race having led from lights to flag, accompanied on the podium by two other MoE drivers.
The feature race saw the top 8 positions reverse order, with Patryk Kołtowski keeping his lead for four laps until Magnus caught and overtook him. This race had a few more bumps and bruises than the sprint race, and ended with two drivers running out of fuel on the final lap, eventually finishing 4 minutes after the leaders.
