Quick edit. Was trying out the 'helm' effect. 
nice idea! Maybe add an inside helmet texture. The formula1 is a tiny bit distorted - it doesnt follow the rest of the curvature, also blur that a bit.
Other than that good job!

right in front of the left rear tire on the body on all of the pictures there is a darker spot on the car, i cant figure out what it is suppossed to be.

It's in the skinoh alright thanks for clearing that up, and you might want to try to make the shadow in it a little better, as it just looks like a blob
