Quote from tadydrift :WIP for my car i will draw and i will try to do a kind of template
front lights looks like the cefiro a31 its finaly lookslike a mix of a31,ae86,gtr32 and 200sx

Where is that WIP?
I can't seem to see anything
ok i will scan my drawings or post some modified template and post it on
i wouldnt mind seeing something like classic eara of cars such as the Audi Quatro and the Ford Escort Mk1, as well as new cars ofc have new tracks but have something different, rather then a full circuit why not have tracks were its getting from one destanation to another, sorta like a tole-booth challange in Need For Speed.
FW15C CVT plz
The cars we have right now, and the Scirocco is what i want to see in S3. This thread should really come to an end now. I don't think it has much use anymore, except for arguing about cars.
Previous year I had contact with Ford. After much e-mailing I got them so far, to let the devs recreate some of the ford cars inside LFS for free.

But for what ever reason, the devs refused the offer from Ford, and all my work was for nothing. Strange though why the devs do not accept such an offer from one of the biggest car brands ever. Actually even plain stupid, but that's just my opinion.

Did Ford actually contact you after that to let you know that they refused it? Maybe the Dev's didn't refuse it, but they just never announced anything about it.. like they do with just about everything else.

Yes I got a reaction from Ford after they had contacted the devs, telling that the devs where not interested, and thanking me for taking time for Ford.
Was it a bunch of road cars?
If this is indeed true then.... What the hell Scavier?
Quote from DevilDare :If this is indeed true then.... What the hell Scavier?

Was back in 2009, I asked for:

2009 Ford Focus
2009 Ford Mondeo
2008 Ford FPV GT Cobra
2006 Ford Focus WRC
1998 Ford Escort WRC

Edit:

Can only find e-mails and replies send or send back to Ford, since thanks to IT failure the inbox was removed at November2009, send items however stayed.

Edit2: (after they had approved, and asked for the email address of the Devs):

Hey Mike,

Thank you for answering my e-mail.
The e-mail adress for the developers is:

[email protected]

Please keep in mind that these people are individuals, and can't afford a
payed license.

Please also mention my name in the e-mail, so they know how you got in
contact with them.

Kind Regards,

Hmmmmm....

Well I guess there was a reason for it. Maybe VW wouldnt let them?

Or maybe they just dont want more work...

yeah why would they commit to making all of these cars when they have no idea how they can acomplish all of that
Quote from logitekg25 :yeah why would they commit to making all of these cars when they have no idea how they can acomplish all of that

Well they did not need to make all of these cars, they could choose one or some out of that list. I can ofcourse understand that they have much work to do atm, but they could have atleast accepted it, and made it on a later date.

For example:

VWS = from 2008/9 probs to be released end 2010 or 2011 (just my thought).
Some of these road cars where 2009, others where already older or old. So I assume it wouldn't been a problem for Ford, if it was released in a year/few years. But ofcourse that's only a thing Mike from Ford, and the Devs know.
we also dont know what the people from ford demanded in their part of the deal, they could have wanted them to not release the scirocco and not make any other cars other then fords.

it seems quite unlikely that they just allow the devs to make ford cars at their own pace, whenever they want
ford maybe demanded the devs to change the name if thay got all the cars to LFF.. Live For Ford.. lol..
I don't believe it.

Carrying on:

some kind of "Noble" would be interesting.......
my car i am drawing will be a car for drift
you to you like the silvia i prefer the nissan silvia s13 or the Sil80
New Car Inclusions for S3
Hey guys,

the absolute best would be the inclusion of: (in priority order, first is most desirable)

- One or two Le Mans Prototypes (say, maybe one closed cockpit and one open; after Formula One, this is absolutely my most favorite race event)
- Baja style trucks and/or buggies (with an appropriate off-road course or two)
- More in the GTR class (think, something like Audi R8, Porsche Carrera GT)

also..I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum for this, but maybe S3 could include some method of statistics/data saving and viewing within the program without the use of some clunky add-on.
we would like to see some specials like the pagani zonda and the ferrari enzo.
some classics like the rolls royce.
and some big fat muscle cars and demolition derby cars.
I dont want to see go karts, monster trucks, demo derby cars, because that would ruin the whole concept of LFS. I want to see more variations of the cars currently available in-game. Plus, if LFS were to have real cars, it would take way too much time to get licenses from those specific compainies just to have thier cars featured in the game
well can we atleast have a truck or proper van, for some intense racing :hide:
the work still progress i am ready to start a WIP Car topic but i ask
where i can get legal LFS cars model for 3DSMax
cause i think i will need it for use the base of the XR and modify it
same i say

Cars we wanna see in S3
