Marcelo Neiva and CoRe Racing present a one-off endurance race using the XRG at Aston North. Everyone is welcome to register for the race, which will take place on Saturday, June 5th, with the festivities starting at 14:00 UTC. Please read the rules below before registering. Bear in mind that some teams may be excluded from the event to preserve a high driving standard. Drivers should ideally be well-experienced in LFS (high online mileage) or from a well-known team. RULES:
* Teams must post in this thread, declaring their lineup in the following format:
Team name:
Car number:
Drivers:
- {Username, Full driver name, Country}
* The administration reserves the right to deny a team entry for any reason.
* Each team must use a unique skin, and the skin must bear the car number (both sides, roof, and rear) and the drivers' names and country flags. Skins should be added to the team registration post when completed. Skins should be posted within 24 hours of the start of the event (14:00 UTC, June 4th).
* Driver names should be formatted in the following manner:
00 - J.Doe
("00 -" must be written in white. The driver's name may be in any color, but should be consistent between all drivers on a team.)
* Qualifying will be divided into two pools. The top three (3) cars from each pool will advance to a single-lap "superpole" session that will set the top six (6) on the grid. The remainder of the cars will be set according to their lap times in the combined pools. Shift-p/s are allowed in qualifying. Only one driver may drive for each team in qualifying.
* The race will employ a double-file rolling start behind a safety car. No safety car or push car will be used after this point.
* Drivers may use shift-p/s in the course of the race if their car is unable to continue. The penalty will be -1 lap. Drivers who time out from the server may reconnect without penalty. Suspicious timeouts, or those that gain a team time, will be investigated.
* Two pitstops, with 4-tire changes, are mandatory in the course of the race. Failure to make a proper 4-tire stop will result in a SG penalty.
* A driver swap must be made in the course of the race. This is a team race; solo competitors are not allowed. No driver may drive more than 75% of the race distance (as determined by the laps completed by the winning car).
* Drivers are expected to maintain a high standard of driving conduct. Drivers may not block excessively, intentionally spin other competitors, or otherwise disrespect the racing environment.
* Drivers may lodge protests against other drivers if they feel it necessary. These protests should be directed via PM to one of the race admins, listed above. Please remember that this is a fun race… no points are involved… so don't file frivolous protests.
Driver rosters/team entries must be finalized by Friday, June 4th at 18:00 UTC.
This is so that we will have time to set up the tracker, etc.
Thanks!
