Rule 5.2.2 updated to: Drivers must upload hotlaps to LFSW (or the driver registration thread) within the benchmark time at any two tracks on the calendar with the car they registered to drive
8.1.2 - Drivers belonging to a squad must all adopt the same color scheme for their names; e.g. if one driver in the team uses blue for his first initial and white for his last name, the other driver(s) in the team must follow the same convention
9.1.3.3.1 - In the event that multiple drivers qualify for the highest climber point, the best finishing driver will receive the bonus point
Rule 8.1.2 will be applied for the remainder of the season beginning with Round 2.
Rule 9.1.3.3.1 will be applied to the official results for Round 1 and henceforth for the remainder of the season.
There have been penalties applied without having a protest filed in the protest thread; cool, I like it. There is a protest that has been rejected in round three (basically on a technicality). Does this rejection of the protest mean that the admins will not review the incident?
Jonathan
It does not. We are a bit harsher on things that have been protested, though as you've noticed we wont hesitate to DQ someone if they've really stepped out of line, no matter if they've been protested or not.
We go through each replay and note incidents which we feel need a second opinion from another admin. If one driver has a handful of these and/or has received warnings in previous rounds they'll likely get a penalty. If it's their first offense and it's relatively minor they'll likely get only a warning. Those who get warnings then continue to act up are likely to get harsher penalties as well.
Rulebook updated to V1.2 with the following addition:
5.3 The server password shall be given out by the administration team only
This means that drivers who currently have the server password may not give it out to new signups. If someone needs the password they should PM myself, tmehlinger, z-ro 8, boothy, CSF, or phatdragonx.
