it has a nice section were jackie stuart teaching mr may how to drive, and there were some good points he made when he was tellin may how to drive..
just thought that it may be benificial to those newer racers.. i learnt a little aswell

He did make some very good points, but didn't you just hate the way that they edited Stewart's lap(s)? They did it in a way that seemed to say: just watching this guy drive would be boring, you need rock music, no shot can last more than a second, and it has to be almost impossible to see what the man is doing.

Topgear seems to be doing this more and more. I really wish they'd take a leaf or two out of Best Motoring's book. The way they show the art and skill of driving in such a simple but fascinating and clear way is unparalleled. But maybe TG think such a clinical approach would be dull. Shame.

Best motoring is an awesome show, I love the detail they go into, real anoraks.

i would of probably hated it if i wasnt some what engaged in other activities...

Top Gear is no longer a driving show, its an entertainment show. Therefore its designed to be as entertaining as possible to the widest audience. A lot of people complain about how they mess around to much, only drive supercars and dont show enough proper driving any more, but thats the point of the program now.

Anyway, its still the only program I make a point of never missing, has me in stiches every epsiode Last nights episode was no exception
