Im not quite sure, but is it me or ... ? ... The physics look like they were reinvented from theyr very first NFS. No?

/pass

Edit: Oh and the power ups add epic realism to the game. /doublepass
Quote from Sueycide_FD :
You can customize offset, fitment, and tire strech?

No, those are just pre-set cars. In-game customisation will probably be limited to bodykits and stuff.

Quote from Sueycide_FD :NFS world looks decent enough to distract us from TDU 2.

Hope so. If there aren't too many annoying people who spam in the chat box (I haven't seen it so far in the old betas... well I didn't even use them much. :P) I think it could be a great game. Now we just gotta wait 'till the end of July.
Is it just me, or does the flaming start now?
1. It looks crap, like an anime.
2. NFS can't have good physics, I think that it can't beat even TDU.
3. Customisation... Dream of every real racer, isn't it?
4. Power-ups... Well I play Blur so I can't say much here, but what I saw in there is really crossing every border.

Maybe just me...

you talk crap because it doesnt look crap, the graphics are perfectly acceptable, you play LFS and you're talking about a game looking crap, bit hypocritical isnt it?
Still, it doesn't make NFS World a good game. Because it's not. But at least it will be free.
well, im playing the closed beta.
physics-wise its (surpsingly!) not really good
but its fun anyway.
u cant tune ur car in any way, u can only change its color or put on vinyls.
its lvl based as the most games these days, at every lvl u get an abillity point with which u can improve things like power-ups, or lil "helpers" as: 10% performance increase if u hit certain rpm at the start for a few secs (i like that one), faster reload for power-ups, better handling, speed or accleration during races...ect.
there are loads.

long story short point...if u didnt like the other nfs titles...u will hate this one as well.
if not, go get racing as soon as it goes public beta

But yeah, I was already in the beta but didn't try the game. Saying this i've bought pretty much every need for speed title released so there's no point stopping now.
So, this is a bit like mario kart then, but then with levels (drift city?)
Nah. it basically is NFS Most Wanted with a tad improved graphics, horrible performance and annoying people online.
