Howdy:
Session eight is Saturday, 5 June 2010.
It will be a one hour, officially timed free practice, starting at 1900 UTC.
To receive credit, you must turn a satisfactory number of laps showing that you have used whatever time you spent wisely. Generally, a mock qualifying run or two, or 10 or so laps of practicing drafting will be the bare minimum.
This session, I encourage you to work on drafting, learning how to work the draft to your advantage. Also use it to work on spatial awareness, your looking left and right, as well as using your mirrors. You're also encouraged to experiment with ways to manage your tyres.
The session will not be stopped except in a server lag, so it's a good chance for you to run many laps at racing pace in a row. If you crash in this session, you can telepit and rejoin, but still, beware of any yellow flags thrown up by LFS.
