The fifth round of the Scrappy Standards League was held on the XRG biased Kyoto Ring National (KY2) circuit. As such this race was almost two races, with most of the XRGs finishing ahead of most of the XFGs in a display of their top speed advantage. Magnus Björndal, still easily the points leader, ran into some trouble in the form of the Estonian Reno Kööts, partially leading to Mangus' retirement from the feature race.

All but one of the XRGs qualified ahead of all of the XFGs on this track.



Magnus lead from lights to flag. A few drivers hit the tires in the second turn, ending their race prematurely.

• Warning issued to 9 E.Liibeon for involvement in bumpdrafting
  

The feature race would see the first win from someone not on the LFSW ineX racing team. Egon Liibeon was the driver able to end that streak.
