dont think so
new wheel came today but i cant mount it i lost the bolts. but i think it has a defect it spins then 5 minutes after it spins again.
Sounds weird!

I still love my wheel, and nothing wrong with it it seems. I only got a squeaky clutch pedal, and when I steer against the FFB, the motor seems to make a squeaky sound too...
broke too 8.8.8 and turns itself off when clubsports are plugged in. this a joke
I just seen on their site they have updated the wheel!

Look for the things with new behind it. Looks awesome. I really want my wheel to be updated... I emailed them to ask if it can. I really hope so, I really love this wheel.
wow, it includes all the things I ever wanted in my G25.

My most desired one is the ability to change the deegres while playing, ideal for driving single seaters or GTR after street cars

This is one of my most happy days. I think I'm going to send the wheel, because it then is $30, and if you do it yourself, $40. Plus you still remain your warrenty.
I interpreted it a bit differently.

Quote :
We will offer this kit as a stand alone kit for 40 EURO / USD. This is our cost price and we consider this offer as service.

If you are not a big DYI fan you can also send us the wheel and we will make the transformation for you. We have service agents in Germany and California.

The price of the service is 30 EUR / USD plus shipping costs in both ways.

$40 for parts + $30 for service + shipping both ways.
Ah yeah, I see that now too... Well, the vibrating brakes now seem to work on all games, would be epic in LFS.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the vibration (during braking) is not triggered by the wheels actually locking up, but rather when you reach a certain braking %. So, for example: you define that at 80% braking, it will start vibrating, no matter whether your wheels are actually locking up or not.

Which makes the whole thing kind of pointless IMO..

I have the GT3RS too, and I see no reason to upgrade. I don't need PS3 support, so why bother?

The other updates like the FFB. The current vibrating of the pedal is with the rFactor plugin when your wheels lock.
I've been thinking about buying this wheel for quite some time and since the new version is now available, which will also be compatible with GT5 and has new electronics to fix old bugs I am even more interested. How do you guys compare it to G25? I was going to buy the fanatec wheel stand for livingroom racing anyway , so i am not worried about the mounting mechanism. The main question is: Would you upgrade to GT3RS from G25? Improvement is always welcome and besides that I really hate that there is no force feedback in the center on G25.
I actually upgraded the G25 with this wheel (V1 version, soon going to upgrade). And I have no second thought of going back. I love this wheel, it's smoother, faster, stronger, more silent, looks better, it has more to offer, I just love it. Surely the V2 will be even better.
Thinking about getting the V2 myself, my G25 is basically dead now.

Never know I might even load up LFS for the first time since 24th December 2009 :P (Don't count on it though, rFactor and netKar Pro get my time).

The wheel will be even more fun on those games, the FFB is so much more 'alive' in other games.
whts the price like, and will it go down? how long? do they last? hows the shifter? can i mount the pedals upside down for realism like i have my g25's
The price won't go down I think, it's been this for ages IIRC. They're very well built, the quality is alot better then the G25 and G27 I've owned, but I can not say they last longer, because I don't got it that long, but I'm sure it will outlast both of them. The shifter may seem a bit rigid at the start, but once you used it a bit, it is quite smooth, and IMO alot better then the G25/G27 shifter, because those shift with your little finger, which can't be realistic. No idea about the pedals, but I don't see a reason why you should mount them upside down, because these pedals are as realistic as they can get. Although, the pedals are easy to hard-mount, and you can adjust pretty much everything on them.
im too broke to buy it anyways, so oh wel

and most cars have their pedals mounted from the top, which gives them a very different feeling compared to how the g25's are..and all wheels lol

so i decided to try to mount mine like that. at first i had to worry about them moving, but after i got them rigid, it really is alot better now
InsideSimRacing guys said in one of their latest videos that Fanatec pedals are only one block (with Logitech ones you can get each pedal separated), so its not as easy to mount them upside down.

And you have to change the springs and the plates of clutch and gas pedal.

But, after all, this is not a hard job, just unscrew, change and screw again several times in several holes
i think il stick to logitech, cause it would suck to have a fanatec wheel with my name

maybe a g27 in a year, and after that whatever the g29 will be
