For now it's a very basic layout but it'll grow over time with more people contributing, I feel this is a mjor step for the team as we become alot more accessable to the community!
What's the difference between a "Team Manager", a "Team Leader", an "Admin Manager", an "Admin Team Leader", a "Race Manager", and a "Race Team Leader" BTW?
No, more because the team is growing rapidly so more senior staff will make running the team easier to do and will put less pressure on the Big Wigs (i.e. Lee and Simon)
Bingo, it's a expansion of the management team to cope with our growth, so it's effectively a second tier of management incase me, Simon or Scott are unavailable.
Covers all our bases and makes the team more accessable and efficient.
Epic Racing are pleased to announce the signing of two new drivers into the squad;
Eoin Harmon has been a long-time friend of the team and following a break from the game, the ex-Sonicrealms racer has decided to join the team in time for some summer league drives!
Nathan Lamothe is well known from his LLM past, however, looking to make a fresh start he has decided to join us following a two week trial. We look forward to working with him in a number of league formats!
Team Leaders Announced
Our management team has also been expanded with the influx of new drivers applying for the team, this new level of management will work below senior management (Myself, Fragster_uK and Scotty2888) and assist us with running the team.
These three positions have been filled by Jack Mace, Matt Webb and Oscar Hardwick. They'll move into their roles over the next week and should be up and running properly by the end of the month!
Right, it's been a while, but here's what's been happening in Epic Racing recently;
JJ Wang Joins Epic Racing - Otherwise known as Lizardfolk on here, JJ has decided to join the team, brining with his league experience and a good knowledge of the game that'll only help us further as we continue to grow.
Trialists Succeed - Both Jake Forster and Ben Horrill have completed their trial periods with the team and have been accepted onto the team roster. Although either will be setting WR's any time soon, we're confident we can bring them up to become capible league racers in no time.
Jack Mace Retires - Jack 'Hutjung' Mace has decided to call time on competitive racing to focus on other aspects including his deputy manager role in the team. Jack was a team frontrunner in this year's TBOC series.
New Trialist Announced - Tom Parker, a recent convert from rFactor has been granted a trial with the team. Tom, who has raced with current members Liane Solfrank and David Jundt in the past will be with us for the next two weeks so we can begin to get to know him.
Epic Racing Fields Two Entries For Core Enduro - The team ran two entries for the recent one-off Core XRG Endurence race, with Niko Demec and Oscar Hardwick driving the #4 and Liane Solfrank with Nathan Lamothe driving the #44. Sadly it was only the latter who were able to see the chequered flag, in 11th, after the four squad ran into techinical difficulties.
Scott Moore and Oscar Hardwick to swap roles - In light of recent work commitments, Scott Moore is to relinquish his Racing Managerial duties to his deputy, Oscar Hardwick. Oscar, who's no stranger to running a team will take on his new role from tomorrow, with Scott remaining onboard as Oscar's deputy.
tbh i told them what i thought and then they replied and i can see why they didnt take arox you wouldnt want your rep ruined if you actualy had some would you? IMO good move not to ruin yourselves over one driver.
and actualy ray is willing to take him
not being bitter i supported your choice after i heard your reasons ...
tbh i dont think epic racing is where i want to go if the admins have that attitude. im suprised such good drivers joined you
