Well, depends ... 3d game is kind of regular. 3d means 3 dimensional, so lfs is 3d - so is runescape. But currently theyr havin a fight over if a random TV can render the 2 layers of the 3d image for example.

Edit: A typo, TV maybe doesnt actually render it. Its done by GPU, like for example GTX480 works with Nvidia 3D Vision - it renders the image and is just sent to the TV.

Ryan is probably thinking of normal 3D games you and I play. Be it on console and TV or PC.

Mogney means 3D as in the stuff you see in TV comes out. Like a 3D movie.
Not sure though if you need TV/glasses.

Well the conclusion is that neither of you guys don't have a clue of what you are talking about.

There are many different technologies to show the illusion of 3D. It's true that all of them need at least a special display or special glasses. Often both are needed. Currently the most common consumer technology is shutter glasses. For this technology, you do not need a '3D Monitor', whatever that is. You simply need a display with a high refresh rate.

The real truth is that none of the current available technologies display real 3D pictures. They simple give the illusion of 3D and the marketers have of course decided to label it '3D Picture'.
