Go to Logitech.com and send them an email or go to the Wingman site and enquire there. Service personell can respond from both locations. If your product is covered by warranty you should be ok. In some countries you may be required to return the goods to the place of purchase but you will probably avoid that if your pedal problem is typical.
Sorry to hijack thread but fits in this thread.
Ive got a DFP and my warrenty is getting close to expiring but my pedal are fine so does this mean when warrenty runs out and they fail (which i presume they will) i wont be able to get a new set off logitech?

50$ after warranty is gone and they do fail
I have a rev B00 DFP that has never ever flinched once in well over a year.. I have beat the p!$$ out of them at times.. (I wear socks though, never hard shoes)..

I had a momo racing that worked great and then the pedals went because of the pots.. still usable with DXTWEAK2 but still nothing like these DFP pedals.. They are perfect. They have the big fat metal pots and they work great for a long time.
How do you figure out your DFP version?
on the plastic bag the papers/manual comes in.. The sticker on it... The one that rips when you open it (unless you peel it off carefully)...

I got two sets replaced with no questions asked.

Usually faulty DFP pedals these days will be replaced with the revision 2 pedals that have metal pots. The previous DFP pedals were almost identical to the Momo ones and suffer the same faults. ALthough the rev2 pedals are still using pots that have a pathetic 10k resistance they are still far superior than the flimsy plastic ones originally used. They are also mounted in a much better way and are less prone to lateral forces.
Yeah I have those Momo pedals.. They do suck.. I knew that the DFP's were pretty much the same inside before rev B00.. that is why I waited till those came out until I got the DFP. Glad I did too..
Cheers for the help guys will get onto it later today

btw my wheel and pedals are revision 2
Hi just thought i would share this with you all but i phoned logitech up today and they are sending out pedals and ........... w8 for it ............ a new wheel also . The guy said he replacing the whole lot cant argue with that. But he said i have to send the ends of the cables of the old one back??? does anyone know what will happen if i dont . I would like to make the other pedals work with new pots or something and keep the new ones for later.

Now where did you put those cable ends again....? Damn, can't remember.
I would send back the cables like they said and just keep the pedals with the cables cut off for spare parts... Or rig up some cable ends and have two wheels...

I offered my pedals to them and they said they didn't want them.
Well i am on the hunt for similar looking cables so i can chop them off and send them back just have to w8 and see what i can come up with
well all I can say is when my Logitech wheel became unable to calibrate I was still on warranty...so I went to the place I bought it....and it sounded like a lunacy
quoting
- This is not a warranty breakdown
- why?
- cause the wheel is physically damaged
- WHERE?
- on the inside ofcourse - that's why it doesnt calibrate
- excuse me, what IS a warranty breakdown?
- Logitech Drivers uncompatibility, or other non mechanical failure....

well...having talked to the head manager for some half an hour I had the full set replaced....but THIS is not a proper way to treat a client

BTW. If you're interested - this happened in Latvia, in a Elkor PC hardware warranty service
I'll be sure to steer clear of that place!
I had a minor spiking problem with my momo, so I emailed logitech australia never got a reply, phoned them and got the run around till I got through to service area, but I actually got to receptionist in service not service personel, she told me ( under warranty) I had to return the lot to place of purchase , I got these from interstate via internet so that's really not an options I told her.

She said well that's what you need to do, goodbye. Logitech Australia has NO customer service or a clue how to treat customers IN my opinion

We can only drool at stories of free full kit replacements without old set being returned, you guys are lucky
