Of course, you can also use the keyboard and mouse without plugging it to the TV

Hmm this or the iPhone? or N95.
just by looking at the numbers, the HTC is a beater (overall).
OP updated. Ability to use simultaneously bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse in conjunction with the HDMI cable for use on the TV showcased here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AZh1X2Vj_0

Ok, I know, other Nokia phones as the Nokia N95 have always allowed this too, but it's been improved on the N8. Besides, almost nobody knew you could do that on the N95 let alone think about this, so it's always good to showcase how it works.

The table is missing in the storage column that USB on-the-go is supported, ie. USB Host ie. you can plug a USB memory to it and transfer files from/to it. ed. but there it is, with the updated post

I've been salivating for it since the launch, but the touchscreen just makes me .... My current N82's screen already is enough scratchy from use. I'm thinking to replace it because I think it's near its planned obsolence date or something because it's acting up even though I got a new battery for it recently
No, thanks.
I don't know but I hate symbian. I have a sony ericsson satio which is also symbian but its very annoying. I like the Iphone OS on the other hand. Its simple to operate the phone with it.
I thought Nokia were abandoning Symbian after the N97 and sticking with Maemo from now on?

Yeah, they are planning to switch high-end devices to run meego. Symbian is a waste of time. Slow like fcuk even on good hardware, eats ram, and no one makes apps with QT. It's a clear dead end. But nah, Nokia keeps pushing it and now Samsung took it as well and made some crap phones. Symbian should only be on entry level phones without a touchscreen.

HTC , what htc. if you ask me on a phone you want battery's, user friendliness and thin.

the htc doenst come close on any off these points.

an other very importand thing, is the touch screen, the hardware from a phone can be so great, but when the touch screen sucks , the phone is worthless.

here is some independent touch screen test:

and if you ask me the iphone is by far the best. ( i know its not the iphone 4, but i dont think the iphone 4 worths, maybe its even better.)

here is the test: http://vimeo.com/10367683

about the nexus, that screen is one big fail, that just because its a soft screen and not a hard glass screen like an iphone, here is some test video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ... h8pcI&feature=related
