OK now that thats over I have a new problem. Whenever I try to drive with it in LFS I move an inch then all the warning lights come on and the car is stuck. What do I do about that? I now think my G25 hates me.

sounds like you are stalling the car, press "I" to start the engine again, and use lots of revs when you release clutch in 1st, until you get used to it.

So the wheel, pedals and shifter all working ok now?

Why didn't it stall when I used the keyboard?

auto clutch was enabled i think.
