Is there anyone who can host all of the new textures on one central site? I can just envision this thread six months from now when 60% of the links are broken.

@ Cue-Ball: I Thought about hosting all mods on a central site too, but i don't have the possibilities to make it happen. And like Electricwolf mentioned everybody would have to agree the hosting.

BIG Update today.

I recieved a pm to a French LFS Forum wich contains many, many new Textures. Most of them have never been released anywhere else so today's update contains 19 "new" textures. ( I added a * to the new Files so you get a better Overwiew.)

The other big Question is if it makes sense to update this thread in the future since now Electricwolf created his Texture website. Personally i think that it makes no sense to invest any more work into this Thread but if you guys think it should persist then i keep it up to date in the future.

edit: keep in mind that these mods are like "alpha-versions"... we plan to make different versions & improvements in future.

I don't host the Files, i just link to your original Post on the French LFS Forum so i dont see why i should have a permission for this...

But if you (or anyone else) don't want the Links here just tell me and i'll remove them.

Since my english is weird, I could not tell exactly what I would (I never studied enough), but where do you read I told to ask for permission?

These files are not hosted on Lfs-France forum. They are on our personals accounts which are provided by free.fr , these accounts has limited bandwidth, they never meant to be used by loads of users...

Then if I wrote: "tell the authors" that's only to prevent issues. We would host these files elsewhere where they would be available for most of people in the best conditions.

I'm just wondering that has that guy made tarmac textures for other tracks? That is amazing texture, really makes it look like used tarmac. All the other tarmac textures I'e seen looks even less used (less realistic) than the original textures. I'd really like to see more that kind of textures. That also has positive effect to feel of speed.
