i think the only reason why not many demo players make videos is because they don't want to make the effort to learn about videography.

Hehee, well, I'm just five years older than you. I make videos too. At the moment more from real life. I know what it means, but I have very few tests with such effects like you showed us up there. Good luck.

It's time for you to learn tracking, rotoscoping and masking using luminance (makes hiding lens flares as they move behind cars easy... saves loads and loads of time).
All that can give you fake dof, realistic lens flares, silhouettes, signs that track an object, set extentions, 3d composites, camera projection.
