Anyone know the name of the guy that ownes the TSS drift server?

This is how i got banned:

Didnt think this was fair really as it was a joke and it obviously wasnt meaning any harm!
Anyone give me him name to send him a message of begging?

lol, he obviously was tired of grippers. Was on a drift server yesterday, and there were three guys gripping. Very irritating.

Owner of the server's nick is IDD GT-R. Don't know about the username. But anyways, GT-R has given the admin pass to some guys, as he isn't so much time in the server.

same here! just got banned for driving a grip XRT. I didnt even get a chance to ask what happened because I was concentrating on driving. Can I not enter anymore? Is this it? I don't really go any other servers either! Suggestions anyone?

Wait so you were racing? If so why then even enter a drift server.

Hmm, it seems there is a simple solution to future problems like this. Don't go to a drift server and race and don't go to a race server and drift. I'm amazed at folks who say "I was gripping on a drift server and was kicked/banned. Why? Please unban me." You can guarantee if there is "drift" in the name of the server, then it is a drift server.


I can't drift, I don't drift, I don't like drifting, and I don't like people drifting in a server when everyone else is racing. I have no problem with drifters, to each his own if that's what they enjoy. I hope they get as full of enjoyment using LFS for their drifting as I do for racing. Though if you see me pop into your drifting server, I may just be curious to watch for a while. I just don't go there and start "gripping". Pretty simple .

Well, I am ussualy playing with drift cars. This time though I chose the XR GTR since it was in the menu anyway. I go to this server because there's always plenty of people and I get good connection. I saw someone else playin in similar vehicle and so I tried it. Mind you though, I have this license for about a week so far. Now I try to connect to other server. And it's laggy. This isn't what I though of LFS when I bought this license! Is ban good forever then or is it temporary? If it is infinite, then why so many few servers to play here? Why not make the ban good for a week? Since it wasn't a written warning anyway rather was more like a mass gang bang. Someone posted ban me, then other chipped in, another dummy without a reason thought it might be a good idea to do what others do without knowing the reason why, and it everyone else galloped like in frenzy buying some overhyped stocks on the bubble bursting market. And here I am now. This isn't what I see when I log on to LFS.net and see 192 racers online. ??? Where are the other servers then? I get about 20 at max. And most of them have either 5 or less people.
I want my money back! This is clearly not what I would reccomend. In fact I think I will try to take it to the admins then.

Are you using filters on your multiplayer search? i never have a problem finding a server, normaly mid day there is at least 30 active servers if not many more Obviously somthing is up because a lack of places to race has never really been a problem in lfs as long as i can remember, even in the later S1 days when it was pretty slow?? Although one thing you must remember as a north american is that late eveneing to us is like mid morning in europe, where a very very large precentage of LFS racer live, so around this time at night is pretty slow...but from about 10am-6pm is prime time. (there are 70 active racers currently and quite a few full servers)

Thanks, it's true, I have some filters on, but that only applies to private servers that use passwords. However, my biggest beef against most of the servers is that most of the servers have no limits to the car usage. That is: all cars are available. That is annoying but this drift server is nice since it has limited car set and it is one of the lowest in ping for me. Well, I already sent PM to the admin, so I am waiting on his reply in regards to my ban. Meanwhile, I guess it won't hurt to try other servers. Wish me luck- I am about to reveal the beauty of 'get on with your life' attittude ;-)
BTW DodgeRacer, I had a '91 240sx too. :-)

Indeed the all cars open thing is annoying, but they are starting to fade out, ive been finding the FOX servers at the SO tracks are quitefun latley
