But we need some suggestions for combos first, so here's a list of unused (shortish) tracks/cars from H2H:

AS1 AS2 BL1 FE2 FE3R FE5/R FE6/R KY1/R SO1 SO2R SO3R and XFG XRG FXO RB4 XRR FOX BF1

How about something like SO2R/FOX, rallycross/RB4 or FE2/XRG? I'll stick up a poll very soon once I have a few more suggestions

Don't know how you're running it, but regarding rallycross... We always wanted a rallycross event but the small/usable ones don't have a traditional grid, which would make the whole pass-to-win thing pointless.
Also it's sad we never used the XRG.
