FPS Problem
Hi there.
So , my FPS is very , very low . It is like at 10-20 (Im driving on a race server that have alot of racers) . I cant drive with that :S . Before, its was at 60-100.
I dont really know how it happened...

So, here are my computer specs :

Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 (2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.100216-1514)
Language: French (Regional Setting: French)
System Manufacturer: IBM
System Model: 8189E1U
BIOS: Phoenix FirstBios(tm) Desktop Pro Version 2.0 for IBM ThinkCentre.
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
Memory: 1022MB RAM
Page File: 754MB used, 2218MB available

Card :

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 6200
Display Memory: 256.0 MB
Monitor: Écran Plug-and-Play
Monitor Max Res: 1600,1200
Driver Version: 6.14.0011.9062 (English)
Driver Date/Size: 8/17/2009 01:57:00, 5845760 bytes

I dont know if its a virus . I runned "Combofix" and "MalwareBytes` Anti-Malaware" . I got Eset NOD32 4 . With this Anti-Virus , I dont need to scan my computer , it does automaticaly .

Got any ideas ?

Sorry for my bad english .
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 6200

Same as mine. Its a really old card, i'd suggest upgrading it...I get around 60-100 with no AA..but with i get 20-30...Also my cpu is worse than yours (2.18) so my rate will be lesser than yours..but i'd say the main culprit is the GPU.
Make sure you dont have more than one antivirus program running. When there are more, they will start messing stuff up. All kinds of weird stuff.

Also, limit your fps to your monitor's maximum refresh rate. Look under resolutions ingame and see wich refresh rate u got on ur current resolution (is marked like 1920x1080 @ 60Hz). After that, limit your fps to 62 for example. If u got vSync on, take it off.

I only have NOD32 Anti-Virus .
For in LFS , I got 1024x768 (32 bit) 60Hz .
FPS limited to 62.
vSync ?

Im only 14 years old , I started to learn english , 6 years ago ? So , Im not very good :P
So your french canadian then?
Yes ? :something
Ah ok...hi..lol.

I lik to know these things...makes me feel good inside XD

Hi...
Vertical sync. Go to last page in options (misc on english)... It's first thing in there. Switch it to "no".
As you said, u got 1024x768 32bit @ 60Hz. U might also try 16bit. It will look a bit greenish (possibly), but this will definately give u some fps boost.

Mess around with the mipmap settings. Will boost the fps a bit i assume, and the graphics will look better.

Edit:

Im now with 35fps on a empty server :P
But in a 32, could be laggy :S . But It was at 80fps before, I really dont know why ...
update your drivers.
I updated my Card .
I am using GameBooster .
I got like 30-35fps , so sounds good
