Mastering First Corner (hairpin)
The first corner on Blackwood GP is the one i can't seem to handle very well, and is the corner where i loose precious time.

Does anyone can give me some tips or expain some way how to handle the first corner?

I use the following brake setup : 555 brake power with 71% balance, and it seems it's a pretty balanced brake setup.
I would apreciate some tips.

ps: 30.19 is my best sector 1 time but i haven't get there for a good time ( 30.30-30.40 is the most common time i hit the first sector)
Watch the WR replay.

i've watched but it's hard to do what they do:-? i just wanted some info i don't knoiw tips:-??
post a replay of your driving
Approach on the left, brake at 100 metres, 2nd or 3rd gear, just touch the apex on the inside, keep steering, run onto the rumble strips on the outside, continue to turn into turn two.

???

Profit!

I would be braking around 60/50 metre mark but adjust the pressure you are applying to the brake pedal on the brow of the crest just to be safe in avoiding locking up your tyres.

I've not driven XFG on Blackwood in months so was taking a stab in the dark based on the cars I DO drive.

oh crap, I misread then, yeah do brake in between 100 and 75 in XFG :P but still be cautious on the crest.
Pick precise reference points for braking, turning, apex, and exit. Be smooth.
the speed in which you gear down will also help. i tend to have my own pattern. it's hard to type out my pattern but i'll give it a try.
from 100m i gear to 3rd quick(ish) tap, tap. then a wait until i am over the crest and go into 2nd. tap.
so it's tap, tap, crest, tap. lol
slow in fast out is the key on blackwood imo. get down to your apex speed and then power through the corner. listen to your tyres so they don't scrub too much.

are we talking about sex

jokes aside, can you post a replay, cause i also need help in this combo, and im pretty sure im a mess this first corner
i don't think i have any shot replays of blackwood. i know i have a 60 lap replay but that's too big (aight).
I think, You lost in 3rd sector the most time(your PB second split is not bad)
