That's how I'd imagine some dev's blogposts.. Nothing hard... and everyone is satisfied and informed. Why can't it work this way here too? :-(

If I'm not mistaken they once said that they can't do these kind of blogs because theres really nothing to report so much, it's just physics.


But they can make a short public TO-DO list. That would show things that are left to be done and we could just send people asking to it. Example:

- AI driver improvements - Completed
- Limited setup system - Completed
- Finish the VW Scirocco - Completed
- Finish Rockingham - Completed
- Tyre heating and cooling - In progress
- Suspension updates - Not yet started
- VW stability control - Not yet started
- General bug fixes - Not yet started
- Release to private testing - Not yet started
- Public TEST release - Not yet started
- Public official release - Not yet started

THIS LIST IS AN EXAMPLE AND DOES NOT REPRESENT THE DEVELOPMENT ROAD OR STATUS IN ANY WAY.

It will be the same for 2 years, so what's the difference? They already told what they are working on, so why do they need to do it again?

They did told us on what they are working on, be we'd like to be updated on what is done and what is not, and specially for all the people who don't check the forum often and create threads asking for the progress, we can just send them to the list and it won't create anger like "OMFG DEVS DONT SAY ANYTHING RAGE".

No, they won't.

Sorry but the devs (mainly Scawen) have said time and time again that they aren't influenced by those kind of threads/polls/moans/etc at all and they only post an update when they want to and think the time is right.

This is just going round in circles.

I rather belive it's in the admin sec section of the forum / infraction talk. Of course it might be that, but I don't think there is a update ready yet.
