After seeing the threads on improving times on BL1, I thought I'd give it a shot (I haven't played much LFS). I've gone from high 1'39s to mid 1'36s. I was using rafs from some of the faster times to try and improve mine and I noticed that the gcircle for my laps were considerably more jagged than the other racers. I then checked a couple of racers who were my speed or slower and found that they were considerably smoother as well. Is this an issue with my wheel or my skill? Thanks

try to turn your wheel smoother and feel the balance of a car.

go into the controller options, and on the right you see the bars, turn your wheel and other axis slowly and if they move slowly and smoothly you are to blame

Thanks guys. I figured it out. It's only partly my fault. The RAF files from LFS World are 10Hz while my files are 100Hz. so the other files are smoothed out to some extent. It just seemed odd that I was significantly less smooth than guys that I was faster than. Still need to work on it. I was better last night and cut another .250 off my time.
