Shredding race
Hello,

You did a barrel or you have an accident in the first round, shift P and you leave again stands.

Same if it happens to you on the last lap.

Except one who had his accident at the start will be ranked higher than the one that was at the end.

But it should be the opposite

what do you think ?

no.

If you get a crash on the earlier lap, and go pits and continue, you start from lap 1.

Same applies to if you crash at the end. But the person who telepitted earlier, is in front of you for a reason. He has driven more laps after telepit.
wait im confused
What are you so confused about? Telepit is basically a race restart for you, so if you wipe out in T1 and telepit immediately, you fall about one lap behind. Do the same in lap 20 and you'll have a lot of catching up to do Perhaps I misunderstood David's complaint, but if this is what he was getting at, then I think that LFS behaves correctly.
New word to lfs world = Telepit = Shift + p (Teleport to pits)
I see no problem there. Telepitting is forbidden in any proper sprint racing league. It is allowed in some endurance leagues/events, but then there's trackers to keep thar into account. On the other hand telepitting is quite common in public racing I guess, but doing so ruins your chances for a good result whenever you do it anyway, as the races are so short. So no big deal IMO.
You crash out - Race is over
In LFS you can crash a barrier, fly high, crash to the ground, have a lot of damage and you still can drive the car at near racing speeds...

In all simulators (and real life) you will cant drive or just move the car...

Why dont drive to pits, repair and go? If you go to pits, its like you restarted the race (for you) and starting from pits, if you repair, you will be far from the leaders but you can catch up...
example : Race 20 Laps

Lap 1 : A an accident, telepit and off again

Lap 19 : B an accident, telepit and off again

Résult :
1 er : A 19 Lap
2ème : B 1 Lap

for me the results should be :

1 er : B 18 Lap
2ème : A 0 Lap

We must take into account the tower is before telepit

No.

Telepit is you exiting the race, retiring and re entering.. thus starting from lap 0.

Endurance does things differently, by using a Tracker.. and telepits are to simulate a towing type situation.
It's a simulator, in real life you won't just press space and reset your car for example. Yes I was bitchy, I know.
