Log in to your account in LFS.net and go to the account details. There is a choice to change your langauge preference.

Changing the language in-game is possible in Options>Game. Selectable langauge are on the right.

The error you're getting is quite serious, but where are you getting this? As you're posting in the forum and currently online in a server, it cant be neither the forum nor the game. So

Then, he isn't logging with the name he registerd. Did he even registered in lfs.net?
