Thing is, unless someone with actual qualification in the business (I mean having success, making a living from it, not just getting a degree or something in music) gets brought in as a judge, it's a waste of time. And there's not even any incentive

A couple of months ago we filmed a proper professional music video, with multiple cameras and a set of extras (mainly attractive ladies, of course). I'd post it up if we were allowed to yet, but I might need to dig out some old live footage instead. Fur teh lulz.
