Congratulations to Conquest Racing for achieving what must be the closest fought LFS endurance title in history, and commiserations to Sonicrealms Racing despite their valiant effort over the season to lose out by a single point. My3id Gaming also should be happy with their efforts to comeback after a poor start and almost take the overall win.
And a very well done to ineX Racing, who put on an impressive display to come fourth, despite missing the first two rounds; also to the outgoing champions spdoRacing, rounding out the top five –within just 14 points of the winners.
All the teams had “what if” moments when looking back – timeouts, popups, safety cars, gravel traps, incidents, and mistakes – however no one could ever say it wasn’t an entertaining championship to participate in and watch!
So thanks to all teams who took part in this season and made the series what it is. Who knows what will happen in 2011 for IGTC's 5th season, but if the important people – the teams and drivers – are in place then there’s no reason why it won’t.
