Impresive 3d fractal

Wow, that was something... Is that Mandelbox really the Mandelbrot's old equation applied in 3D or is it something more sophisticated? Anyway it's awesome...

The inside of the first one reminds me of lineage 2 somehow It only needs silly castles and orcs.
