I did make a habit of being evil. But when your right rear is collapsed and rotates if you lift.......i stayed flat

i want to know if i get points for airtime

edit: I'm in for 2011

I didn't get hit too much (or hit that much).

In the final race I got rear ended by an RB4 which wrecked my engine.
Quote from Jon606 :I bet you forgot to come to the rounds on purpose so you could get the multiplier this time around!

Haha, that would be a risky strategy. No, last time i was just a few meters left and behind the guy who shot this video.

Round 5 Results
Here are the results of the fifth round.

Nobody got the Crash Bonus, but the Double Points area was used to full effect by practically everyone who raced (same as last time then!)

The red and white barriers flipped a whole load of cars again; their "best" moment was in Race 2, where no fewer than 3 drivers were caught out! Unlike the previous rounds, it wasn't the last race where everything went insane. For some weird reason (NOT related to the disappearance of 427 Mookster from my PC :razz pretty much everyone went mad. This was reflected in the bonkers then-record score of 2825 from 666 Ämpäripää, which included a then-record 2225 crash points, and 3 people breaking 2000 points, with 606 RIOT SQUAD only scoring crash points, albeit 2050 of them! Race 4 saw an ultimately crazy act of destruction by uiop, in which he practically aimed for everything that wasn't either a) solid or b) a barrier. This resulted in an absolutely batsh*t 2900 points, a record for any of the races so far, with the new record of 2400 crash points achieved.

Debutant 144 JHI had a solid performance, with a good 2800 points, although he did complain about a lack of action (but he did race around most of the time not hitting anything )

In what I've never seen before, uiop took 3 of the 4 races, all with 1500+ scores, resulting in a bizarre 7300 points in total, which was 2015 ahead of Ämpäripää in second, with 12 Wheeling 515 points behind. However, with the addition of the Missed Round Multiplier, 444 Pikey, who scored an excellent 4175 points, won the round overall with a crazy 12,525 points from his 3 missed rounds. JHI got second, 1,325 behind after missing 4 rounds, and the only other person to miss more than 2 rounds, 23 General Hybris, got third, although his final score was 25 points shy of a 5-digit score after his 3 missed rounds were taken into account.

Round Standings

The League and Race Standings will be updated shortly, with the online scoreboard also getting updated. I'll also announce the winners of the 2 point-related titles soon...
The Overall and Race Points Winners are...
Apologies for the double post, but I think it's now time to announce the winners of both the Overall and Race Points titles. "Winners" is actually the wrong word to use, seeing as the same person won both of the points titles.

Now, this driver was one of the first to sign up for both seasons so far, and I can honestly say that he has a true DD racer mentality; he knows when he has to race, and when he has to crash to get those big points. His absence from Round 5 last season unfortunately killed his title hopes last year, but this time around he has so far been the only other driver (apart from me obviously ) to have attended all the rounds so far. Compared to last season though, I have to honestly say that he has improved greatly, pulling off some huge hits while having some great laps, which really resulted in a round win at Round 4 1850 points ahead of second place.

So, without further ado, I'll announce that the point-related titles both went to...

:woohoo: :clapclap: 12 Wheeling! :clapclap::woohoo:

Ironically, one-round absences were great aids to Wheeling's titles, which were a grand 19,770 points in the Overall standings, and 6545 points in the Race standings. Nearest rival overall, 666 Ämpäripää, missed Round 4, while his race rival, 76 Clyde, missed Round 3; I think that had both of them been at their respective rounds, they may have just taken the titles away from Wheeling.

So, for Season 3 (if it happens, that is), Wheeling will be able to race under #2, #3, or the two-digit combinations of the two (so #23 or #32). However if Wheeling does not want to wear any of these numbers, then Ämpäripää will be able to race under #2, and Clyde under #3 (that is, if they're taking part next year).

EDIT: After finally entering last season's Round 5 result into the online standings, I can confirm that Wheeling took the title of Race Champion from 98 Oliver (now known as Wazzaaaaaaa!), although with a much lower score, as Oliver had an outstanding 7550 over the 5 rounds last year; an average of over 1500 points per round! So a late well done to him! :clapclap:
Ty ty

Wheeling's a true DD legend!
Woot

13th in points ain't bad!

Can I take #13 for next year please?

We just finished round 6^^
Race 6 Post-Discussion + Thanks
We got 10 from 11 confirmations; a season and league best of 90.9% (834 uiop was the only person who didn't show).

After an aborted start due to 669 The End turning up late, we got back underway, and 12 Wheeling was instantly eliminated, rendering his triple crown chances over before they even started. One by one, drivers went out, until the last 3 were the two Englishmen 76 Clyde and 326 Sam, and the German 23 General Hybris (1966 and all that WAS mentioned :razz. At around the 15 minute mark, Hybris was destroyed, leaving it a battle between the XRT of Clyde and the RB4 of Sam. They battled on and on and on, neither one looking to have the advantage of victory. Then, at 19:44 on the clock, Sam unleashed a huge shot onto Clyde which roofed the Pac Racing Club XRT. The 10 seconds in which he could be rolled over again passed, and I can now announce that the OVERALL WINNER of the LFS Destruction Derby League 2010 is...

:woohoo: :clapclap: 326 Sam! :clapclap::woohoo:

The results will be posted up tomorrow.
It's Pac Racing Club, it says that on the car.

Round 6 Results
Apologies for a double post, but here are the results of the sixth round.

In the time it took 2 Jyrsis to get eliminated first in last year's finale, which was 93 seconds, 3 drivers were eliminated, all lasting under a minute! In fact, in the time it took for the round to go down to the final three, last year we still had six cars going; insane! 23 General Hybris made it two final threes in a row, although he failed to finish second like last year, lasting 40 seconds longer than in 2009. Just under 7 minutes after Hybris went, 76 Clyde went too, handing 326 Sam his title crown.

Congratulations to Sam for taking the second LFS Destruction Derby League title, and also a thank you to all the drivers who took part in the round, and the league.
