hey guys so heres whats happened i used to play live for speed alot on demo with my mate and ive just upgraded my pc to windows 7 ( used to be windows xp ) but ive ran all the test on my cmoputer and updated my video adapters to directx 11 and it does not run. my computer says something about proboble error in graphics driver or it just turns it self off and goes to a wierd blue screen with loads of white writing for about 3 seconds and then restarts my computer.

if somebody can help me i will really appriciate it.

just a quick note these are my specs:

Intel pentium 4 processor H-T (FSB 800)
Geforce FX 5200
52x CD-RW
16x DVD
80GB (7200 rpm)

i need help as soon as possible as im missing lfs and my mate is getting a little annoyed.

That card is DX 9.0c compatible. How would it run 10 or 11? Thought Windows does mantain DX9 intalled, but maybe this is the cause of your problem.

Because you have windows 7 and DirectX11 is built in

I have tried Windows 7 in a machine
Intel M 1.6ghz
64MB Intel Extreme G2 / 82528 Family
2gb Memory Installed
and it works fine.

Try re-installing you LFS Z28.

Don't every try to downgrade DirectX, it won't work like this and there is no reason to do it... Anyway, what drivers have you installed after upgrading to Win7? Chances are you don't have either chipset or graphics driver installed properly.

disable automatic restart

next time it happens, get the stop number/stop error... sounds like a driver thing though. did you install the nvidia drivers?
