It's that time of year again, where my girlfriend does a 12-hour writing event for charity (yes, I'm begging again, but it's not for me this time).

This year's charity is Diabetes UK, which is maybe an obvious choice since I am in fact a diabetic. So maybe I am begging for me in a sort of very roundabout way.
