Surely a stupid question.

I try to join an online game on a Rally track.

Can't choose a car except FBM :-(

Tells me must be in S1 mode or S2 mode.

How to change the mode and choose a car more suitable for Rallies.

Hi, just to make sure, is your LFS copy unlocked?

You can check it on the start up screen: It should read "S2: dongosaure" or similar (or simply check if all the S2 cars and tracks are available on single player mode.

Once you're sure that your LFS is unlocked try connecting to another online host.

The one that you connected to might have only enabled the FBM on a rally track. There are plenty of servers with rally track and road cars (they might be empty at the moment, though...)
