How did I know when I posted about this last nigth that we would have a bunch of guys telling us about how much they wanna see the movie!

I still wanna see it so I know what cool things I have to do to my car when I get one, I mean, the fast and the furious is the shiot, isn't it....bro?

Lol, I saw the pic of the drifting car and the big mustang behind it and I thought well that's cool, an old muscle car. Now you lot have ruined it by telling me about the nissan engine in it. I think when I get my car i'm putting my 50cc scooter engine in it.

I havn't seen this Bullit film but the best chase i've saw in a film is definetely Ronin, class film and storyline. As for driven, I was younger when I saw it, I thought the crashes were cool at the time but I remember at the end how his car is totally manged and uncontrollable that he could go around another 3 corners then it started spinning like shiot. Also when he jumps ythe kerb and breaks his suspension, the camera that we get shown is right on the kerb where he lands, somehow the guys in the pitlane see the same view too, funny place to have a camera...facing acrross the dirt...bro.

O if u've ever seen "The Original Gone In 60 Seconds" now thats a movie to watch...he actually did do all those stunts....and when u see the part were he hit the light pole at over 100mph he actually got knocked out....and thats why the car just sits there....i believe...? lol not seen it in forever but that movie was awesome
Haha, the new one is a 2 hour movie with a 20 minute chase. The origional was a 2 hour movie with a 1 hour 20 minute chase! LOL

"Eleanor" the Mustang from Gone in 60 seconds, or the one Steve McQueen drives in Bullit, that's what a Mustang should sound like, putting a turbo 4 cylinder in it is nothing short of heresy.
but someone told me that the v8's would never sould like this anymore due to exaust-fumes regulations...

true?
Gone in 60 seconds is a great film. To be honest the first Fast and Furious was also a decent movie. I've seen far worse. I watched the second one for about 20 minutes and realised that it as just an opportunity to make money off previous success, something I presume is happening with the third.

Even with the emissions regs, we get some pretty mean sounding V8's. A friend of mine has a late-model (2000-something) Pontiac Trans Am with a 5.7L or so in it, and even with stock exhaust sounds pretty nice. It's rated at 325 HP and 350 ft lb, too. One of the quickest cars (in a straight line) I've ever been in.

o yes 2000 t/a's are very quick...but cant get the feeling like u do when u ride in a 2003 cobra KenneBelle Supercharged 4.6L, 375hp, 6 speed manual, o yes but t/a's are very fast from factory but still nothing like a cobra....but im a mustang man so what can ya say lol
I'm up for some sort of scientific test to determine if you remotely 'like' those Fast and @#$ed up movies.. And if the outcome is anything more positive than "I'd rather put 220V on my privates than watch those" your LFS license should be taken away.. forever!

I agree Eleanor sounded nice, but I don't like it either. It wasn't a real shelby, it was modified. I'm not sure on everything done to it, but it had a couple touches from the import scene in it which annoyed me.

The "Bullit" mustang is nothing short of sex on wheels, though Gotta love that thing! (Ironically enough, I gave a special edition DVD of Bullit to my father for father's day this year )
so what the heck??? i mean its just a movie!!...a movie that started with some guys doing streetracing (back then it wasen't so popular) and people like the ideea! well...i think what they really liked was Vin Diesel ,the cars and some music thats why ff2 was a total failure...and now the tokyo drift presents the sport(i mean drifting not underground fooling) that is curently evolving thru the countries. i dont see why are u so revolved about? when all of those 3 movies are in general about law and friendship, bla bla! i mean the cars and all that sh*t's are just for show.!! nothing serious about this! and about the people that wanna be like in the movies .... well they ae just out of theyr minds! in a few seconds im gonna watch ff tokyo dft and have a post after! and i must confes that i like The fast and the furious (1). saw it a houndred tims...but i like it as a movie not as a "WOW streetracing! i like that! that is awsome! coowl!!"... i say not to rev up like this over a movie.who belives in movies is an idiot...so do you want to argue with idiots?
Alex, i bet you loved the constant downshifting even though they are already at the redline to go faster!!! its so logical, why dont we all do it?
Well, this is what I did:

1)downloaded Fast and the furious from Demonoid.
2)Watched movie. Audience was suprisingly quiet!
3)burned movie onto disc. Then I deleted the file.
4)put disc into toilet and then pissed on it. Then I flushed the toilet.
5)removed disc from toilet (and yes, I used gloves....).
6)put disc into the microwave and set on high for 30 seconds.
7)removed disc, put it out in the alley.
8)started up the car and ran over it about 5 times.
9)threw disc into the garbage.
10)fired up the DVD player and cleansed my soul by watching "LeMans".
You put that disc in your microwave!? Where you cook the food you and your loved ones eat!? I guess the urine might help to kill it off a little.. but if I were you I'd buy a new microwave.
^^
you got too much time :P

ps: the microwave is a pretty easy way for batch-destruction of almost any disc type... )

I put the disc atop a disposable plastic cup, not to worry!

A KB Cobra with only 375hp? Weak

Depends on where you are at. Most states you can run an open exhaust (no joking there), in others, you'd be pulled over almost instantly for having an exhaust system that is too loud.
jayhawk, you are overexagerating! i dont understand why are you so pissd over f&f?? i mean yes, its far from real but who sad it will be a realistic racing movie???? all movies today are made only for money, unfortunetly they lost that uniq thing...now all are the same, spacial effects, explosions, guns, overreving motors, fights, etc etc! so if you consider f&f a total junk then all the recent movies are a total junk (there are some exceptions though) donno if some1 is following me but...i think u should wake up, u dont impress nobody by saying how much you hate a movie for beeing new and on the publics taste.....

i just watchd tokyo drift. what can i say? the actual "drifting" takes place at about 15% of the movie...the rest is about yacuza and a love story. the only think that i really enjoyd is the ''comeback" of Dom (vin diesel) i really didn't expect that.

and yea, about that "if u like this movie you dont deserve a s2 liceense"...what in the world a movie got to do with LFS???? its like saying if you dont like "Black hawk down" you cant play bf2.....does that sound normal to you guys?
Quote from RMachucaA :Alex, i bet you loved the constant downshifting even though they are already at the redline to go faster!!! its so logical, why dont we all do it?

so where did u come up with that exactly? or u didnt read my post fully? i sad i liked it as a MOVIE not as a super real racing! its far from being real! but in a movie its not the fu*king point!!

i cant understand this obsession u guys have. if that guy likes streetracing is a total idiot and doesent belong here, or if he enjoys drifting hes a cowerd and so on! i dont see the connection between what a person likes with his driving in lfs.

thats off the showroom floor smaller boost pulley get u about 425-450+
Quote from MAGGOT :I don't care what that article says, that does piss me off. It's not just about putting a japanese engine in an american car, it's about putting a japanese engine in an american car that so much heritage, prestige, and not to mention value. Putting that eninge in it destroys everything the mustang was.

It's about taking our countries love of the automobile and the heritage of the greatest American automotive years and completely destroying it. FWIW, 1967 Mustangs probably sold for around $3000 new (guessing) and now they are going for $30-50,000 on the auction block. These cars are no longer made anymore (this vintage that is) and there are only so many around. And Hollywood takes our beloved automotive history and does this. (example 1, $34,020 example 2, $51,300)

About the "it's a movie, it doesn't matter if it's real or not", a movie has to be somewhat real and believable to be entertaining when it's a subject like this. All the special effects and stuff doesn't make the movie entertaining, it's how they do the special effects. If you are going to have a movie set in current times, then it has to be somewhat realistic. Star Wars, the Matrix, Terminator, etc. wasn't set in current times. They were fantacy/futuristic and the special effects were good for those movies. Someone said earlier about current movies are made to target the 15-22 year olds because they spend the most money. That is all because of dating. They will go see a movie anyways, no matter what the movie, and give Hollywood their money. They aren't there to see a movie anyways. At least the guys usually have something else on their minds .

It is a real embarrassment to me over here that Hollywood and most of the big money movies comes from my country. As well as most big money actors. They are an embarrassment to me. Especially when a world catastrophy happens and they all get together for a "charity event" that foolish normal folks pay to see while the idiot Hollywood folks don't contribute a freakin dime. But they'll take your money and contribute to make them look great. I say take some of that $65 million you just made for 4 freakin months of work and contribute half of that for your cause. I'd love to contribute for the world catastrophies that happen, but I'm too busy bustin my ass 12-16 hours a day to feed my children freakin macaroni and cheese for their lunch. Wish my family had the money to buy a $10,000 stroller for the paid nanny to push the baby around for walks.

That's why you don't spend your hard earned cash to go see this kind of rubbish "just to have a laugh at all the boy ricers there" as I've seen one say here. Because they are taking your cash and laughing the whole way to the bank. Yup, everyone in the world flames the US because of how rich of a country we are and how snobbish we are because of that. But yet, the minute some money making scam movies like the Fast and the Furious are out, there everyone in the world is running to the theater to send their not-so-easily-attainable-as-in-the-US money at the US's Hollywood which are the very folk that the US gets flamed about being the richest/snobbiest country in the world.
:iagree:
:wow: :iagree: :monkey:
CONTACT, I went to get my car from the car park, after doing some shopping, and saw a idiot in a BMW e30 trying to drift on the third floor of the carpark...actually, I am now happy to know that this FF:Tokyo Drift gives wrong info (quoting - All you need to do to drift is pull the handbrake) because the first turn he tried to drift, he spin around, and hit a S-klasse Mercedes Benz...he tried to get away, but I even waited for the owner of the MB, and told him what happened, and the license plates on "our hero"...
You gotta LOVE those F'n'F movies, I bet the S-Klasse owner already Loves Street Drifters, AND the movie that made a lot of IDIOTS BELIEVE they ARE STREET DRIFTERS
