Hi all.

I'm after a new board as my current one only has a 4x PCIe slot, and can't run my CPU past 2.1 Ghz (ASRock 4CoreDual), so I think it's bottlenecking things quite badly in iRacing.

I need more than 2 slots for RAM since I have 3 sticks, and I want to be able to overclock my CPU (E2140) to around 3 Ghz if possible, which apparantly it will do with the stock cooler. I'm looking to spend the minimum really.

But it seems some people have had problems with crashing, and not booting with USB devices attached. :/

Your CPU is the bottleneck. It would also be the bottleneck at 3GHz because it's a shit CPU, it's just a Pentium Dual Core after all. I suggest you get a new computer altogether as anything will be faster than what you have now. Any upgrade will be a waste of money really.
