wow there are some retarded posts in here, 86's are good due to having well balanced chassis's with good parts backing, and pokey engines (pokey, not high powered).

chassis's are what defines a good car that is designed to take corners, engines can be modified and swapped, chassis's can only be modified slightly.

different people value different things in every car, the fact that it will still beat most cars in this thread in a straight line, around a circuit, and will pretty much definitely out-perform every car in drift is to a lot of people, more important than winning a few show and shine trophies.

plus, it was never a "nice car", it was bought as a missile, stripped of unneeded parts, steering knuckles added. you cant actually see much damage in those pics, simply a lack of parts.

i went to enter in d1. they had herd of me from the internet, they said i was to good so i culdnt entr my jetta. that was a damn shame as i wuld have outmissld those d1 arseheads with my awesome missle missle missle. its too bad as it was missley, but then i un-missled it a bit, but then decided to overmissle it. missle missle it is now. its missle impressive missle.
