They wouldn't need a snow machine, most parts of the nation get ruined by about 2" of snow. But it is currently lights deep on my van, so I could do with a decent set of snow tyres or maybe snow chains.
A couple of weeks back the forest behind my house was part of a Yorkshire rally, and as a souvenir I have the back box from a Mk1 Escort.
Well, it finally started snowing down here too. Very lightly though and most of it melts as soon as it hits the ground, feels like a shower if anything. Oh well, its a start.
They don't do any street stages though do they? Some parts of Bradford and Leeds would be really good for a rally stage, so would the Bingley flats road from Ilkley to Bingley.
There isn't much beauty in snow right here, being in the big city. And I can't just put spikes on my scooter, so I'll have to use the stupid Public Transporting.
Lol, buses in my town are still filled with summer diesel. Two of them got their fuel filters clogged with paraffin today . Half the people from my school were late . That's the quality of public transport in Lithuania.
Ford focus set on fire on the road behind my house. We got round when the petrol tank exploded.. Wow.. It shit me up.
People trying to get up a hill by revving the bollocks out of the car.. IDIOTS!
Put pictures up in a sec
[Dads phone is rather bad for photos]
Whole car ended up burning out. Quite a few booms o.0 Some fireworks aswell.
Even though 2nd picture is bad quality. Good action shot, What i heard it was the airbag which flew up in the air on fire. Everyone started screaming and ran back :P Also hit the street lamp
I don't hate public transport for getting the flu or anything, I hate it because it's unreliable, and I just don't like being driven on a railway.
Also, I lack experience in riding a scooter since I've got my license just almost a year ago, and so I don't feel save to ride on snow or ice. AND I don't want to damage either myself or my scooter.
u forgot one thing...it costs quite a bit of money over some time >_>
my license is new too...3 months old.
but ive driven scooters/bikes/motorcycles in bad conditions before...once u get a lil feel for it its so much fun
oh and OT: more snow coming tomorrow...might get a pic if its nice
Yay finally some bloody snow in Hampshire! Worked all day in it and enjoying it. nice squirmy drive home and now off out to walk in the snowy woodland!
The cost isn't a problem for me... about 20€ and I can use the ones I need to go to school for the whole school year. But it's just oh-so annoying, because they're not reliable at all...and uncomfortable compared to a scooter.
