to change server /display server
a) make sure the tick box next to watch server is ticked
b) click on the text 'WATCH SERVER(S)' to enter the servers names

to select server you need to know the server name as it is held in lfs ie with the ^1 ^2 etc for the colours and a + for a space as it is in the lfs remote etc if you are not sure look at the address bar on your browser when you clik on lfs destop display of info or lfsremote .
ps if you click on the SERVER' label at the top it will take you to lfsremote


i have added a default of the wcl demo server as the first server to watch so you can see hw that is done but you can overwright
there are 2 boxs the first is a descriptive label that then appears in the gadget the second box is the server name , up to 4 servers can be set up.
thre is a 5th option when the gadget is show of '_' which will minimise the information.

the world records tick box has no options .if it is ticked then if there are any new wr in lfs they will display a entry if not nothing will show until there are some

track racer will allow you to see the online status of up to 4 users if they are offline it will say that they are off line if on line it will tell you the server and you can click on it and it will show the server summary

the show track has plenty of option
no of racers
track
layout
direction
this option is useful if lets say you like to race on ovals when there are at least 4 people
you would select min racers=4
track= kyoto ring
layout= 0
direction =standard

once you have selected you settings click ok and it will return you to the main display
this will change size dependng on options selected (ticked) and information to display.
if only the server info is displayed check you have entered your idk in correctly as this does not require an idk

ok so i have the servers, and such all setup, but i am confused on how to give them data.

i just typed the name of the server, i need to get the exact colors too?

ne way to find the server name is :-
go to lfs desktop
click on:-racers and hosts on line
find the host you want to monitor
look across for the info button, click on it
now look at the address on the top of your browser ie
http://www.lfsworld.net/pubsta ... t=%21bolhoeve+racing+demo
and copy the part after the equals sign into the gadget options column where the [WCL]+Rallycross+Demo example is showing
ie:-'
'%21bolhoeve+racing+demo' to monitor the 'bolhoeve racing demo' server
or
'%5BAA%5D+Blackwood+FBM' to monitor the '[AA] Blackwood FBM' server
put a short desription to the left
close the options box then to display the server click on the short description and the server box will open

i went through that, but it only comes up as [LTC]+Live+To+Cruise

so it has the + signs instead, but no color identification.

that works put in LTC as label and [LTC]+Live+To+Cruise as server and then click on the 'ltc' label and the server will show

oh i thought it was color coded. but when i have it all set, just like your screenshots, when i click the button on the gadget itself nothing pops up. not for any of my servers. i will try to figure out what i did. i got my idk number from lfsworld, i believe its installed correctly
