I was trying to do what was explained in this thread

But nothing happens like it does not detect my mouse? no steering.. no accell or brake.... was this feature removed? My mouse works fine if I select kb/mouse but then I have to use a digital button for accel and brake....

Its driving me up the wall, im sure I am missing something simple?

Works for me.
Select 'Wheel / Joystick'
Go to 'Axes / FF'
Click on 'Steering', then click on 'Mouse X' to the right
Click on 'Thr / Brk Combined', then click on 'Mouse Y' to the right

It doesn't show (detect) you the movement of the mouse axes when you click the steering/throttle, by design.

still nothing ....... Heres a screenshot of what iv done, it says 3 controllers dected at top right. Maybe that has something to do with it?

You have the axes assigned correctly, my Mouse X/Y were just like that and worked when I went on the track. If it doesn't, dunno

I use mouse for steer and W for accelerate , Space for brake, right click head tilt to right, left click tilt head to left, Clutch C, Sadly cant assign "A" for left blinker, "D" for right blinker, "S" for hazard lights

Never mind I plugged in my joypad and now the mouse works as steering and accel/brake........... so have to play with joypad plugged in haha
