Hi there,

I just drove my first rounds in the LFS demo, and I'm now considering to buy a license for the game. I would really like to use the a custom car.

I figured out that I can't use those custom cars in the LFS demo (Is that right?). But can I use custom cars when I buy a S1 license? Or is this only possible with a S2 license?

I could't find this anywhere on the LFS site.

What was that software you linked to?

Car mods are not allowed. Noone linked u to any kind of software. And also, delete that damn link in ur first post. Car mods in lfs are not allowed, discussing about them is not allowed and if u dare to use them, go away and get banned. Have a good day.

That car replaces UF1000 which is S2 car, so you will need S2 license.

Dude, calm down a bit. Please bear in mind that I'm just a beginner. I thought that those custom cars were part of the game, and that the mods site I mentioned earlier was made by the creators of the game. For me as a beginner it's hard to distinguish what's "good" and what's not.

To make sure you have "good" stuff, download things only from lfs.net and lfsforum.net, you can't go wrong

Anyway, I don't know why you'd need custom cars. The best way to get more cars is to buy S1/2, and I'm sure you won't need any more for a while

Nah, they're simply third party add-ons that change the shape of a car within LFS.

To answer your question, if you need to use the mod you previously linked, you should get a S2 licence; the UF1 is a S2 cars$ (as already mentioned).

If you do use those mods, please try to limit their use for offline gameplay. As some of them glitch the crash physics.

Anyway I don't see any point in this because as you said before it doesn't change anything else than just look of the car, so all we can suggest is simply to buy S2 and play it, nothing can go wrong then.
